Paris Club Launches Cooking Series with Chef Armand Arnal of Michelin-starred La Chassagnette

Chef Armand Arnal of Michelin-starred, La Chassagnette

(Chicago) – Paris Club’s newly-appointed Executive Chef Alex Ageneau will host an ongoing, exclusive series of visits by French chefs to Chicago.

The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, November 3rd, in the restaurant’s Salon Privé, featuring the cuisine of chef Armand Arnal of Michelin-starred, La Chassagnette.

Recently named a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in France, chef Arnal will present a four-course meal with wine pairings created just for this limited engagement.

Originally from Montpellier, Arnal, 31, spent seven years working closely with Alain Ducasse in New York, before taking his position as Executive Chef at La Chassagnette in early 2006. There, Arnal has created a fresh and contemporary menu reinventing Mediterranean tradition, with organic products, fresh fish, seasonal vegetables and herbs.

“I have much respect for Armand and I look forward to working with him,” said Ageneau. “He brings a wealth of experience and talent, and our guests are going to appreciate his unique style.”

Paris Club has teamed up with hospitality consultant Jean-Pierre Duteron of Global Luxury Hospitality to direct this culinary initiative. A native of Bordeaux, Duteron has gained notoriety as a restaurant developer, food and beverage executive, general manager, including a stint as the private Maitre d’ to the late French president Francois Mitterrand.
